A powerful witch has invaded the elf kingdom, lurking in her lair in the valley across the mountains from your peaceful elf village. Stopping her seems impossible but must be tried. For, if she goes unchallenged, your village is next.

Although you seem the least likely of champions, hungover and bleary-eyed as you are, you've been chosen for this possible suicide mission.

"Witchever" is a 'classic' parser-style text adventure in the style of "Zork" or "Enchanter". It is a completely new re-do of an older game that no one should look for or play.

Your new release is release 1, so there are now two versions of release 1 dated 13-Jun-2025 and 04-Jul-2025. This is confusing and causes complications for database entry at CASA, IFDB, IFWiki et al.
